In the Beginner workshop (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.) you’ll learn how to:
- Brainstorm blog post ideas
- Create a blog calendar
- Format an effective blog post
- Optimize your copy for SEO
- Utilize your blog post for maximum reach
- Create a simple blogging workflow
In the Intermediate workshop (1 – 4 p.m.) you’ll learn:
- All of the above and…
- How to format the perfect blog post photo
- The definitive way to name your images for SEO
- Using tags vs. categories
- How to get inbound links
- The most effective way to utilize your posts
Choose One or Attend Both
- Beginner Blogging 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Intermediate Blogging 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Plenty of time will be given to practice what you’ve learned. And, if time allows, we’ll even critique a few blog posts. This will be an interactive, hands-on workshop (a laptop will be very useful) to help build your confidence and enthusisasm for blogging. It’s not as hard as you think!
